You sure about that? A quick search indicates one CAN attend nursing school and become registered as a nurse with a prior felony. Getting hired will be more difficult but is NOT impossible.

Commercially employable pilot - yes. You'll need a HS diploma AND in many cases a college degree AND aircraft type specific training AND thousands of hours of experience.
