  2. i agree. those charts would only be useful if you had 3d tanks driving around. otherwise, pfft... what's the point of going 3d?

Ok now you got me going. Imagine you want to compare 4 stocks' charts in one page. Now what you can do is having them overlap each other. Imagine you can have another depth and see them in 3D as 4 separate charts. Not having them will not kill you but when they are available and 3D laptops are sold at $700, you will buy one.

  4. 3D tech has been around since SGI. Option modeling is done in 3G and it's a novelty.

Yes, what's wrong with that? I see 3D as a disadvantage for this purpose, because your 1st and 4th stocks will be too far from each other, and you have to kind of guess the price.

On the other hand, in 2D you see immediately the price difference.

The real purpose of having a 3D laptop is obviously porn. Imagine when she reaches out of the screen and....

That's not 3D. that's just 2D with perspective a far cry from 3D.If you could add a sharpness fuzzy gradient it might improve the display though it still wouldn't be 3D.
A Piled Higher and Deeper in EE. La ti da. An average 5'th grader with a hand written page of instructions a paper candle chart a pencil and a ruler can successfully swing trade. Provided he doesn't get greedy.
