I bought an IPOD mini like 15 months ago. And within 8 months the battery went to shit. Could only get 2 hours playback out of it IF it was just recently recharged, or else even less. And it takes hours and hours to fully recharge. And somtimes it would just shut off even though it showed a full charge. Sent it to Apple for battery replacement and they said it passed thier diagostic tests. Overpriced POS with sleek design IMO. Hope the newer models are improved. But what I don't like is how everything is now IPOD compatible, cars even hotel rooms i hear. I hope this kind of compatibility extends to other (better) MP3 players like Sandisk. Hope IPOD doesn't become like Windows, you have to use it.
