Scaling out 1281.50 on down....nice little additional intraday hit. Long off 1260's for an intraday play was a good move...nice trade.
The Z06 is a bad machine! I wanted a vert, and that was the deciding factor. I drove an 08 Z, and scared myself on the interstate. I was shifting out of 3rd into 4th at around 110mph, and the car was basically saying, "bring it on." I wimped out at 135, and drove the speed limit the rest of the time. Again, if it weren't for the C6 Vette, I would compare GM to the YUGO. (I hope I'm not giving my age up knowing what a YUGO was. )
I drove an older Vette a few years back and that was a monster. I can only imagine what the Z06 is like.

Go drive one! You'll not be sorry. Just don't bring your wallet, as the ride could be addictive. I've driven an F430 before, and was in car nut Heaven. However, the Z06 made me forget very quickly. I really think the Z pulled harder than the Ferrari. I liked the Ferrari handling, but the price was... Not for me. There are guys out here buying 05-08 C6 vettes, and adding an under hood supercharger, headers, and 60lb injectors getting over 600hp to the rear wheels. If you get in on a good 06 z51, 3lt, 6spd with less than 10k miles in the low to mid 30's, you can have the above mods added for less than $8,500, and have a monster nothing can touch for around $45,000.
