Sooo...your argument is that since McVeigh was a terrorist that ....what? He deserves a statue? Because I'm having a hard time following what point it is you are trying to make?

 

One side was The United States,the other side was domestic terrorists waging war against US.

 

Both sides were Americans. Whether you recognize that a Civil War - which is defined by the fact that it is a "Nation Divided" or not is not really relevant.

Does the acts of The Confederacy not fit the definition of terrorism defined by The FBI ?

I'm not sure who is making the same argument, but I'm certainly not.

 

The word terrorist wasn't used back than as far as I know but they sent their military to kill them as they would terrorist who attacked them.
