Show me one government agency anywhere that claims the Confederate Army was considered terrorists, or mentions them as such. Because if you can't, its just your opinion - which again, is valid. Just doesn't make it truth.
Stalin was once our allies,so was The Taliban etc.The enemy of my enemy is my friend has always been a part of US defense policy.
Ok, I agree. So what? That's precisely why the Confederate Army sought external support from other nations.
Has the FBI ever published a single comment anywhere saying the Confederate Army were terrorists? Has the US Government made any such declaration? One could make the argument this is a fallacy of inconsistency or a false equivalence. But that would also be subjective in nature, and therefore only an opinion.
How so? Both sides were Americans, and both sides sought external help from allies (the enemy of my enemy is my friend - as you said). If anything, it strengthens my argument.
I see where the FBI published acts of terrorism, but where did they say that the Confederate Army was a terrorist organization?
