  1. dandxg...thanks buddy...I will share when I know something...but everybody should just take bits and pieces from everybody's posts here and put together something real great..i have probably found the grail several times and not stuck with it long enough...but thats me...I have even left systems that are making profit as I get tired of them and grow bored...I am going to try my hand at the YM for a while and take a break from Forex...Its good to get back into Futures...its been several years...

you know what was refreshing...to see a DOM that shows a regulated depth that everybody see's with their Doms at their brokers...that's all I have for now...now I got to learn how to trade...I wish I could make some money. Maybe this magic indicator will help me trade the Dow. I really believe.

P.S. dandxg, I saved your post for last...Good Night Everybody.

  2. Hey Electric, good luck with your trading. Quite frankly, I don't know why people trade FX considering the issues and virtually complete lack of regulation.

Having said that, there is always the EC (as I'm sure you already know this) in the futures arena (and some others if the volume is enough for you), if you start to miss all things FX. And that has a real DOM and T&S from the blessed CME!

    Cheers, EQ.

  5. Too funny I listen to Coast to Coast when I can't sleep!:p

Michael, seriously as a friend I have to go back to something you said. You have found and left systems that made money because you were bored. Good trading should be boring. You know that. This advice comes from a trader I know that consistently makes several thousand per week, no it's not me yet. Seriously, when you have a statistical edge, that you believe in, you just point click, watch, and let the trade unfold.

Gambling is exciting. Because when you are truly gambling at the casino there is no statistical edge so you never have a real idea what is going to happen. Because good trading is boring, I leave the tv on and watch re-runs at times as well as the financial news. One of the toughest things about trading, good trading, is that it is, and always will be, boring. If you want to add excitement, and still exploit your edge, then add size, that's all. You know all this, you have been in the biz much longer than I. I am just trying to remind you friend.
