you now say, "My streak was indeed 53 consecutive profitable closed trades of 15% or better." Can you see the difference between that and your initial claim of "53 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better". Do I need to bring the thread back? There seems to be a word present in the new quote, that was absent before. Being wharton MBA, can you tell what that word is? Now I have a word for you, "LIAR" you're a LIAR, a LIAR!.
This is how you originally greeted us: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=10172 and this is what you spin to me today: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?postid=263077#post263077 I think I see a liar! And I went to city college!
Alright...NFI closed today at 58.91. That means I'm up 14.5% in only one week. No one on this board can refute this success, nor can they deny the fact that this was a well thought out trade which combined quantitatitve and fundamental analysis in a mechanical model which is very simple to use. I aptly described my criteria above for making my decision. I cite this only to show those people who keep claiming my 15% returns are paltry and insufficient. Do the math...the time it takes to attain these returns is a very important factor. Normally, it takes me about 5 weeks to get my 15% return. Since there are 52 weeks in a year, I can expect to typically turn these stocks 10 times per year, compounding the profits each time. This method generates an annual gain of about 305%. OK..so I stepped up on THIS board and made a stock call, and it proved to be a good one. I guess the only way my stock picks are legit are if I make them in this forum vs. my Yahoo forum. Quite frankly, I have more fun doing it in my Yahoo forum, where people choose to cheer for me, than in this arena where people, for the most part, seem to be cynical, mean, bitter and envious. That all points back to my theory on human behavior and the stock market. People who do well in the market are quick to congratulate others who share similar successes. People who do poorly tend to be cynical, mean, bitter and envious when informed about others who have done well. So...which one are you? I now have 18 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better (not even counting NFI, which is almost there). I now have 508 members in my Yahoo Group. They come to listen to the wisdom of $$$MR. MARKET$$$, the best stock picker on the planet. I am HUGE!! Build me a temple. Bring me your finest meats and cheeses as I flex my 19" biceps to unheard of proportions. Come with me on the golf course as I split the fairways with thunderous 350 yd drives that bring rain down from the clouds. I am $$$MR. MARKET$$$.
it's too bad you lost all your credibility with these lies: This is how you originally greeted ET: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=10172 and this is what you spin to ET today: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?postid=263077#post263077 Yes, NFI was a good call. But you are LYING when you say you have, "X profitable trades in a row". Just admit you are LEAVING out the LOSERS, which you don't close, and subsequently don't count?? Be a man about ALL your trades, including LOSERS, and you will recieve your credit.
All of my trades, open and closed, are posted on my homepage: http://members.aol.com/ebarsamian They always have been and none of my positions have been "hidden". Spend some time and do some research..they did teach you that in college, didn't they? So please get your facts straight before you call anyone, including me, a liar. You lose credibility very rapidly that way. $$$MR. MARKET$$$ P.S. by the way..now it's YOUR turn to make a stock call.
you said "I have 53 consecutive profitable trades in a row". you say "Spend some time and do some research..they did teach you that in college, didn't they?" Yes, in city college they taught me in statistics that it's IMPOSSIBLE to have 53 consecutive ANYTHING (odds are billions to 1). They didn't teach YOU this? You LIAR!
