So you did this on middle of Saturday night without consulting Legal, Risk, Compliance dept. Do you even have those professionals in your company or is it one man army enterprise?

I think there is more to this than is behind said out loud..

No dog in this fight, but if you read the original post from Balck,it would certainly appear he is a major shooter with little experience trading futures.2 months ago,he was flipping 2 lots, now He is throwing around 300 lots...He may be the next Paul Tudor Jones, but if I was his clearing agent and read this thread,I would take a hard pass or watch him like a hawk..No f'n way I toss him more rope..

With that said,AMP did not need to get onto a public pissing contest with him on a public forum..Not a good look

decades ago, I did like wise.

I was trading with small lots.
suddenly I increased it by multiple times because I heard that it was possible to reach financial freedom within few months.

Of course, I was burnt badly.

    Those were the dark days.

  4. IMO ....AMP_Global was clearing up misinformation posted by an anonymous poster. No confidential internal client communications was posted, it was all standard generic know-your-client questions and answers.

  5. you wouldn’t leave a broker that posted that email exchange online? I have left brokers for much less.

This has been an entertaining thread.

  6. This is a reg violation. They will get fined. I’ve filed with the CFTC and the NFA.

Glad I was able to see how insane and stupid they are before depositing more.

  7. I've also had a bad experience at AMP, when they advertised a lifetime no commission trading offer if you paid $1000, only to find out that there was a hidden per contract fee (trade processing fee, or some garbage like that) that was never mentioned until after depositing the money there. The customer service guy was rude and sounded like a used car salesman. I ran as soon as I could and got my money out of there ASAP.

AMP seems to be tailored for newb futures traders with under 25K accounts who trade 1 and 2 lots so its a bit too much to ask them to accommodate a 7 figure account. It has its place among futures brokers, basically very small retail accounts and I'm sure that works fine for those clients. But putting in any kind of real money there is taking a lot of risk with a low capitalized firm.

Kinda off-topic from all the rage that's brewing, but I personally like AMP. They have the lowest comm, quick execution, their chatter box is usually quick to respond to your needs. What more do you need as a trader?

I'm with AMP for ten years. No surprises...fast executions through CQG...grandfathered in with Ninja...Burp free ACH transfers...what else can I say? And no, I do not raise any red flags with their compliance department because I am a small fish.
