I have bought Al Brooks' Trading Course

  1. Some are killing it, others are being wiped out. But you only hear from the winners.

  2. I used TA very succesfully for a number of years, was a member of the MTA, and retained to train a fund manager TA. Prior to my evolution of a trader and understanding that i was winning despite the TA rather than because of it.

See it DOCUMENTED before the fact and in real time in the surf report from 2002. So stop talking out of your a$$.

Agreed. But just as much, on ET at least, we also hear from the losers. The winners stay quiet, with a post every now and then, but they do read to keep entertained while they rake it in.

I'd say the winners like Alphatrader and Brooks stay a little too quiet when it comes to specifics, but always mention their winners when it is to their benefit. Alphatrader still has to address how repeatable their trading strategy is. The HFT algorithms from the futures market are quickly taking over individual equities as well. Even if Alphatrader's strategy/strategies is profitable now I highly doubt it was 2 years ago, 5 years ago, 10 years ago, and 20 years ago, as well as 20 years into the future, as Brooks claims his is/was (price action will always be similarly decipherable).

  9. You can't compare me to Brooks. He is an educator; I'm not.

I'm pretty much quiet most times. The last few pages are worth more than what I have posted through the year. In regards to specifics, I don't think I owe you anything to have to disclose.

However, if you truly are interested, you can get his course for an early bird special $249, with a full refund guarantee.

I've never mentioned my winners or called out trades, nor do I plan to.

Like I said earlier, unfortunately for you, I don't owe you.

That's quite a naive claim to make.

Don't trouble your head too much with other people's doubt. I for sure don't mind if you think I'm a good trader or a losing one.

@Q3D a little advice for you my friend (and I don't say it in a condescending manner).

There are people out there that work two jobs 6-7 days a week to make ends meet. You could probably make that in a trade or in a day. That, my friend, is a true blessing that has landed in your hands.

Keep focus and optimize you business. Worry less about what others are doing as it is a distraction to your business, unless it happens to be a positive discussion.

    Wishing you the best.

  10. Yes @Visaria. You can use WMP and adjust the speed. Here is the link that contains the instructions.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You can change the speed at which files play in the Player. For example, you can slow down the playback speed if you're taking notes while watching a training video, or you can speed up the slow sections of a presentation.

    1. Play a file, and then switch to Now Playing mode.

If you’re in the Player Library, click the Switch to Now Playing button [IMG] in the lower-right corner of the Player.
    2. Right-click an open space in the Player (such as to the left of the Stop button) , point to Enhancements, and then clickPlay speed settings.

    3. Move the Play Speed slider to the speed at which you want to play the file, or click the Slow, Normal, or Fast links.

To select speeds between the labeled play speeds, in the Play speed settings dialog box, clear the Snap slider to common speeds check box.

    4. To hide the settings, click the Close button [IMG] in the Play speed settings dialog box."
