Dear site owner, I am wondering if it is time to take some measures with this user.

He is calling me a moron. Is this repeated behavior acceptable?

He is never constructive, and his only purpose here seems to slander and insult people with all the most demential arguments.

He is also spreading a very bad culture about the essence of trading.

More importantly, he is literally stalking and harassing me on every thread, even on weekends and I would like to be able to work too, as I have many ongoing projects and creations.

I wonder if it is possible to do something to avoid him transforming any discussion of mine into a circus of madness and hate. And the same goes for his accomplice overnight.

Changing a user's quote when replying and that he was doxxing this Duane individual, which you had corrected in an earlier post as well.

 

Thank you, @Baron. Personally, I would simply like to be let alone discuss my projects, without being insulted and stalked continuously, and called by my real name by some anonymous.

I never went after anything from this User called "Destriero". Also because the way he trades for me is meaningless and leading nowhere.

He is the one who has started chasing me everywhere, stalking and massively harassing me for no reason, inventing all sorts of most defamatory things.

I am an institutional figure and even a public officer (in my country) after all. Even if someone anonymous likes to insult me at least should keep me anonymous without continuously repeating my real name followed by insults. So all remain at a virtual level, and actually, nobody cares.

You cannot, hiding in complete anonymity, invent slanders and defamatory fantasy arguments about a real person (arriving to even forge CFTC correspondence about my real persona). I am a public figure and person who has been doing research all his life in various fields (including algorithm trading). This is not acceptable, IMHO

I guess you brought this upon himself. You called him a lot of names, too. So I guess that's on you. You can always put someone on ignore/block if you don't like what they have to say

But I concur that this @destriero self-moderation thing is not working at all. I strongly assume @Baron knows that but let's it slide because destr at least brings a good amount of non-linear knowledge to the table.

There is a big difference. I was trying to discourage and avoid his totally unjustified personal assaults.

I tried in all possible ways: from legal threats to jokes to responding to the insults (which btw will never be on the same level because he is addressing anytime my real name) and making further jokes. Insulting, as a defense, an anonymous digital avatar is no crime.

Nothing worked.

Insulting a real person, in a reputable position, and imputing him (even with forgery of government documents) with various sorts of fantasy illegal activities are all other matters.

If you wish to surreptitiously put me and him on the same level, I cannot follow you. You can trade as he trades if you like and if you believe it makes some sense. Then, let me know in 10 years how it went.

I really do not care. I never went to comment on his trading before his unjustified assaults. His existence is totally irrelevant to me for various reasons: 1) I sincerely and personally believe he is a clueless compulsive gambler who will never rise above a long-term zero. What he is bringing, IMHO, is just a gambling approach masked by incomprehensible (largely invented) jargon 2) I have a lot of experience with students and I can evaluate people pretty accurately 3) I have other people and projects to take care of.

I am minding my own projects and explaining transparently what I do. I am fully transparent and I make anything available to anyone to see with their own eyes, and for free, whether it actually works or not.

I am a serious researcher, in case you did not notice. That is all. I certainly do not like some random anonymous on the web, who does not know me and has no idea of algorithmic trading (on which I have worked for more than 25 years now), calling me a scam or addressing me with racist insults (Tommaso Rigatoni, etc.), puppy molester, fraud, moron, or similar.
