I have a loss of 1.400% by

  1. and mostly true (especially about the majority of speculators being losers), but not even a Thorpe or other big shots would ever break the house. Its arrogance that often breaks the house from the inside.

I do not believe I am arrogant, at least not about what I wrote and about my attitude in the previous posts, BUT: I cannot believe how blinded some people try to make money in the markets. I firmly believe most are not the least aware they are trading against the smartest under the planet, highly mathematical and statistical systems, and powerful institutions who enjoy huge advantages over the small speculator. Statistically, the speculator loses out in the long term, except for some really tiny percentage. I just do not get how 90% of all traders believe they might belong to the 0.1% of winners. Otherwise, why won't the crowd realize they lose money in trading but instead keep on going? If trading is seen as some sort of lottery ticket by the majority, well, then I understand. Otherwise it is totally illogical to continue pursuing a losers' game.

How this relates to this thread? Simple: Someone who does not have the slightest idea what level of risk he/she is trading against is proving that he/she is not prepared at all for any eventuality and that any sort of trading plan is missing. With such poor preparation how can you ever believe to stand up against the smartest in this industry? Are you hoping to find a less prepared counterparty? Then, GOOD LUCK!!! (and this luck is something you will really need, however, which per definition will not hold you up in the long term)

  3. the truth always hurts. But its the dream itself which has fed brokers and institutionals over decades. And even some admonition will not change it. Its great: You can smile at the many losers and tell them they are losing money and they still run like a herd of pigs towards their own destruction. I sometimes wonder why brokers are not speaking out the truth, I would bet even that would not change the course ;-)

I believe the many losing traders who are either too selfish or lack the knowledge or intelligence to admit to their losing (and wont change anything) are in actuality the only FREE LUNCH on Wallstreet!!!

the content of what you are saying does not and cannot justify the way you communicate. and i am sure you are already pretty much aware of this.

you are not the judge of anyone. people are allowed to do what they think is best. heilbronner btw does not seem to be an ignorant loser to me. but even if he was, you disqualify the content of your words by the way you spit them out.
