You’re not a trader John! … particularly if you don’t understand the fundamentals of risk!
How much are u willing to lose on a trade?
Not I expect to make 100% annually …. Because u deserve it buddy! Good Luck

Imo you are not a trader but a gambler.
Trading some of the most efficient aka purely random markets with a lot of leverage has nothing to do with serious trading.

    Then how are you down 65% / $25k on a $40K account?

    I actually am 25% Russian !!!
I have traveled to old USSR dozen times but not after 1999. Ukraine, Kiev beautiful city, very nice people.
But I don't plan on going back.
Am also 25% Polish, mmmmm deli and sweets, pirogues yum.

I have done well trading, have no emotions. Love leverage, but have to be smart about it. I am smarter than most people when it comes to pattern recognition. And dumber than most people when it comes to social interaction. I don't understand humor for most part. I have difficulty when people insult me as it don't compute, so when I can't understand the "why's, I think to myself they are dumb POS.

  9. My new method is currently...

Risk a profit/loss of 2% of account value on each trade. I will choose where I want to place my stops by looking at chart, and then adjust position size accordingly. I will follow trend always. I will not enter two trades simultaneously that are based on the same thing (for example, two trades that are betting on safe havens).

So far, I'm 2 for 4 and basically breaking even.
