i also saw it testing resistance. i shorted it as well today about 2:00 central time.

 

Two open gaps to fill. One at 40.78 and another at 39.46. I'm thinking the first gets filled by Thursday and then we get a modest pop that makes a lower high on the chart and relieves the short-term oversold condition. Then the new year starts with a drop to fill the second gap before resuming the upward march...

With The very best uptrends, dont pay much attention to resistance;
but $42 QQQQ, just hasnt been closed/ cleared much.

Not so much that DEC is down ,red candlechart;
but to find a good uptrend month , well , 4/2001 closed $42 +

 

Well, we got our first gap fill, which went down to 40.75 (3 points lower than my target 40.78), before it bounced.

The second one still remains, but that probably won't happen until we bounce Santa-style. Look for a lower high on the bounce.

Then, back down we go, to 39.50, before we start back up again...
