Why would you have problem trading size in forex?
If Ib or oanda is not enough than i would think trading through currenex should be.
And btw i am not talking about scalping or 1-5 min trading but longer timeframes catching bigger moves

    Confused,

Why sell a system that can generate those type of "expected" returns?

Take $20 K and double it every 6 months

6 months you will be worth $40 K
    Year 1 - $80 K
    1.5 years - $160 K
    Year 2 - $320 K
    2.5 years - $640 K
    Year 3 - $1.28 Mil

    etc etc

Forex markets could easily handle this size.

Do you honestly believe that you can do any better selling it?

Unless - you are on your death bed, or have a job that generates much greater returns then it doesn't make sense to sell a system that can generate those types of returns.

Keep it - and get rich - unless of course you already have tried and failed........

    1) not impossible. depending on size of account, not a problem to do; i keep a small account, and do it often.
    2) because the person wouldn't sell it - they can make more money TRADING it than selling it.
    3) i wasn't 'born with a fat account' either. i traded up from less than 10k.

100% return in 5 months starts getting dodgy when:
    A) trading real money with slippage
    B) trading REAL size
    C) keeping a good reward/risk portfolio. allowing for those black swan overnight scenarios.

people gave you smart-ass comments because if you've been trading for any time, or have done any research, there's a ton of people who are guaranteeing 'huge returns!'. and many of those 'huge returns!' suddenly fade under the light of "let's see those trades you actually did". see letters A, B, C above.

here's a better suggestion. if you're so sure that you've got a drop-dead, knock-out system that no one has thought of, take your offer to investment banks or hedge funds. instead of selling it outright, you'll sell it for something - and .1% of any money that they make trading it.

after all, *they're* the ones who have the big money, and are willing to pay big money to quants, risk arbs, etc. and if you're smarter than all of them, they'd be happy to have you on board.

but please, stop insulting others' intelligence with this "only 50 real traders on ET" crap and thinking you've got the holy grail. if you do, trade, make a fortune, and THEN sell it. if not, shush.

  4. Except losses from trading your turd system. Not to mention the possibility that you and your "lawyer" aren't even the fools that you seem to be, you're thieves.

    confusedNOT,

If your systems do what you are saying, then why not keep your forex system as backup for your even better futures strategy?

If your futures system starts to not work, it would be nice to have a back up.

As I said earlier, if your main problem is paying the bills, why not get a night/weekend job like bartender or waiter? You can make some decent money doing that in order to pay your rent/utilities and trade your account by day. That way, you can actaully compound your $7,000 into a much safer amount for trading.

This seems like a more realistic approach to dealing with your challenges, than selling a system to total strangers over the internet, when you have already admited that you only have $7,000 in your account.

By the way, I'm not diminishing your net worth. You're young and everyone starts somewhere. But with that said, "the proof is in the puddin" and from what I can tell, you don't have much "puddin".

Fun with fusion: Freshman's nuclear fusion reactor has USU physics faculty in awe

    By Alan Edwards
    Deseret Morning News
LOGAN — A widespread belief among physicists nowadays is that modern science requires squadrons of scientists and wildly expensive equipment.

Spanish Fork High graduate Craig Wallace shows off his nuclear fusion reactor, based on the plans of Utah's own Philo Farnsworth, the inventor of TV. Craig Wallace and Philo T. Farnsworth are putting the lie to all that.

Wallace, a baby-faced tennis player fresh out of Spanish Fork High School, had almost the entire physics faculty of Utah State University hovering (and arguing) over an apparatus he had cobbled together from parts salvaged from junk yards and charity drops.
The apparatus is nothing less than the sine qua non of modern science: a nuclear fusion reactor, based on the plans of Utah's own Philo Farnsworth, the inventor of television.
The reactor sat on a table with an attached vacuum pump wheezing away. A television monitor showed what was inside: a glowing ball of gas surrounded by a metal helix.
The ball is, literally, a small sun, where an electric field forces deuteron ions (a form of hydrogen) to gather, bang together and occasionally fuse, spitting out a neutron each time fusion occurs.
"Here I am with this thing here," Wallace mused, looking at his surroundings. "Who'da thought?"
Wallace and Farnsworth are much alike. Both are (or were — Farnsworth died in 1971) tinkerers. While Wallace was in grade school, his mother got a flat tire while he was riding with her. He fixed it. For his part, Farnsworth began improvising electric motors at a young age. Both went on to bigger and better things.
