I'm pretty sure you need a HS diploma and some college credits to become an apprentice these days. Unless, you "know" someone.

 

This kid drops out of HS and goes to work as an "electrician". Normally they don't even hire "apprentices" onto these jobs. Let alone a HS drop out.
