The west is nice, so people are taking advantage of them. Asian are nice too, but they will definitely fight back. So nobody really wants to mess with them, including Greta. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Excerpt from the comment section: "How does a little moppet like this get to speak before the UN or at Davos. Obviously, she is being used as a mouthpiece by some powerful entity. My guess is the lucrative business of selling carbon credits is a primary catalyst. " "Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket." --- Eric Hoffer "When 150 billionaires and central bankers fly in on 100's of private planes to talk about fossil fuels, climate and CO2, you know were in the final stage."
So the only reason the US is higher than China is because China has 4 times the population? Sorry, but if you're looking for impact to the planet, not sure you should be focused on output per capita. You really should be looking at output per country (or decision maker). I mean, Canada is #2 in your chart. Does anyone here really think Canada is a massive driver of greenhouse gas that needs to be addressed? Or Turkmenistan? LOL!
Why are you going for per capita? Per region is a better measure. Imagine a nation like China produces most of the world's emission versus a small nation produces more per capita but smaller in total quantity. She ignored the Chinese government and went after that small nation. Doesn't make sense.
Comrade Carbon is an emissions bad boy himself. Bernie Sanders to increase private jet use despite dire climate warnings https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jan/10/bernie-sanders-to-increase-private-jet-use-despite/
