Obama's statement clearly refers to infrastructure.

Really? His exact words were: "If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.."

Here we go again, instead of question the religion itself, torture it into something acceptable. Obama's statement was obviously MUCH broader than that, but first let's say it was just infrastructure. Roads etc. are available to everyone, so why the need to bring it up? We all want roads and power grids but whenever anybody does something extraordinary do we scold them to pay even more taxes than what they already have and give thanks to the power grid? That's stupid, we give the gold medal to Michael Phelps alone, and he may thank his coaches and parents, but we never insist that he thank government for the swimming pools.

So why the attitude? after all support for roads and the internet are pretty solid. 3 reasons: the liberal communist religion is founded on strong egalitarianism and Obama is regular at that church. Secondly the sleight of hand is that things like medicaid will be thrown into the pot along with the internet as necessary for achievment to justify establishing the socialist caliphate. Third Obama himself is a lazy pothead who had doors open because of affirmative action. Of course he believes that is how people get ahead, he simply cannot fathom that a person all by themselves could work really hard and do something special, or he hates them for it.

I bet he had these thoughts while blowing a pot smoke ring in the back room with a bead curtain door:

Clearly Obama's teacher was the likes of Bill Ayers, bunch of leftist BS. ARPA didn't invent the internet so that people could make money, they built it for themselves and the DoD. The original packet switched network would not even be useful today. Am I to believe that nobody would have ever thought to network computers? Does Obama understand that that ARPA (now DARPA) and government contract out for such things?

"there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there" - Obama isn't one of them. Meaningless platitude, intended again to bring everyone to the same level of importance and justify socialism.

One phrase dedicated to individual initiative and all the rest to the magic of government teamwork. Is there any doubt about where this man stands philsophically? He thinks most ALL accomplishment is due to collaboration/teamwork coordinated by a government god. Simple tasks like fighting fires are better that way since firemen don't have to be extraordinary people. Creative endeavors and economic prosperity are almost never done that way or Marx would have been correct. The internet was built on contract to a very small group of entrepeneural physicists, there wasn't some magical national collective that made it possible.

What about when a team is doing remarkable things? I like the NE Patriots and the way the play as a team, but there are clearly individual talents and effgorts that make it all possible and it starts with the leaders. Worth noting- are they all paid the same? can people be kicked off the team? so much for equality of economic outcomes since discipline and competition are necessary ingredients for success of any team. That part is always left out of any socialist discussion. We have no national discipline, competition is a bad word to the left, and we have a shitty coach in the white house.

In what together? I really really hate that religious platitude, what is 'this'? ...and if we are on one giant government team, where are the coaches making people perform? why do the nonperformers demand money?

  7. And yet... the polls show the election currently running a "dead heat".

So.... who is it exactly that is voting for Odumbo?

PARASITIC TIT SUCKERS, LEACHES, AND LAYABOUTS who want the Odumbo Administration to give them "something for nothing".

    Disgusting!

what game Ricter? I said assuming you were correct that he is talking about infrastructure, and I doubt it, then again so what? Do we ask anyone who is successful to give thanks to infrastructure available to all? You know people were creating things long before roads and liberals came along.

  9. Bottom line: anytime obama is off the telepromter he is a complete disaster. Very telling, and disturbing...
