I declare that it is now time to trade Solar: CSUN

Discussion in 'Stocks' started by michaelscott, Jun 16, 2007.

  1. I increased my position this morning when the analyst came out with the hold on CSUN. I spun around to monitor other stocks at my turret and then spun around to see this thing getting whacked up 7%. This is why I love (but sometimes hate) solar stocks. They are such great volatility vehicles.

I know a woman from mainland China and had her read the original press release which was in Chinese for CSUN (of the polysilicon supply). The press release was not interpreted correctly. I think the traders misinterpreted the original press release that was in Chinese.

Things are better then what they seem. Hey, looks like we are through 12.50, they must have heard the holygrail character. Holygrail doesnt know what I know about CSUN. My analysis goes beyond a few charts, I go much deeper because here I am in NYC and the analysts for these stocks all go to happy hour especially that lovable Jeff Osborne from CIBC World Markets. Rooftop bar at 6pm today Jeff!!!

  2. Looks to me like you are trying to get the last word, but nevertheless you are no longer worth my time. You are just a child who has much to learn, but unfortunately you will never hear opportunity knocking because you will be too busy listening to your own self-proclaimed expert analysis.

You remind me of the small child saying

"mommy, mommy watch me, watch this" when they first learn how to jump, or ride a bike.

Losers like yourself come and go quickly on this board. Be sure to change your name after the market humbles your ass.

  3. Where is my little b*tch holygrail? Looks like when you opened your mouth about CSUN, it went up 10%.

I do see CSUN being a 23 dollar stock in the future. However, I dont recommend buying&holding, but trading. This isnt an investment website but one about trading pure and simple.

The simple fact is that someone is throwing a bid under CSUN, its up 10% today on double the average volume and it will see higher prices. I doubled my position right when the analyst came out today with his "hold" position.

Its not the fact that the position he took was "hold", its the fact that he is covering CSUN at all. What is this Cowen and Company's interest and how come they dont cover SOLF? Something is going on behind the scenes. They are setting up for the conference call. All the bearish news is baked in so what will they announce at that call, will the analysts change their mind after the call? Oh time will tell, but I do believe CSUN is a stock that should be in its 20s.

Dont be a buy&holder though, trade and trade all the way...

  4. LOL, yeah, it's just a little more than 11.00 away from your target and .30 away from the high I said it would make it to before it resumes its downtrend. Until it takes out 14.90 it's just a stock in a downtrend.

  7. I love Chinese solar companies. One day its in the single digits, the next day its in the teens and then who knows what it will be next.

The fact of the matter is that these solar companies generate a lot of revenue and China has proven itself to be a better market then the United States.

The media loves to bash Chinese solar stocks giving everyone the image that their just sham stocks. On the other hand, all of them generate tons of revenue and that fact cannot be ignored.

I have to thank guys like Herb Greenberg and Jim Cramer for creating a panic in my favorite solar stocks. Now I can buy them at lower prices and watch how they appreciate 40% before the next episode of Mad Money where Jim is hitting the sell button.

Dont be fading these lovelies. Just sit back and be patient, wait for the next wave up.
