'I can't breathe:' Death of unarmed black man George Floyd leads to firing of white police officers

  1. Maybe he had Covid too. This will not be relevant because none of those conditions were imminent threats to his life. No knee on the throat he's still alive today, aging heart and all.

  2. Yup. Maybe he had Covid and took hydroxychloroquine based on Trump's statements and had a heart attack as a result.

    Trump's fault after all.

There ya go tards, I just helped you. You are welcome.

Maybe Joe can go to Minneapolis and talk to the crowds. Tell them how we need to put record players on for blacks to help stimulate their kids and to fund social workers to help show blacks how to raise their kids- as he said in the debates. Maybe that will help. OR NOT.

And like clockwork, Ilhan Omar uses this as a fundraising tool.

It's as if she paid the damn cop to kill him just so she could get some dough for herself.

  5. C'mon man. Don't be so cynical.

Minneapolis needs to see some real live examples of people spreading brotherly love at this difficult time.

Who better than Omar to demonstrate brotherly love.

Good stuff Ocho, it seems like everything you wrote in this thread is playing out. Its amazing how many (whatever they call them) "contributors" on msnbc are calling for a charge of first degree. They did have one intelligent lady on there earlier that basically said exactly what you did, that the prosecutor has to go with one he can win.

Here's a question... "premeditated".... how is that defined? Obviously if someone plans on shooting their wife's lover a week in advance and googles how to get away with it... that's premeditated.
But if someone is of sound mind and they are choking someone, after a minute or so they can make a decision to either let them go or continue choking them. If they decide to continue... isn't that also premeditated? In a way? Again, assuming they are of sound mind and also not in some kind of angry rage. Is there a time-frame involved in the legal interpretation of premeditated? Seems like a very gray area. Granted in this case it would be tough to convince a jury. These folks on TV are idiots.

Oh yeah, and then there's this.

They are saying the cop and the victim used to work together as security in some club. That's weird huh? Maybe that's why they waited. Maybe the prosecutor was looking for a connection there. Never know. And was it a fake $20? Every bodega in the world has one of those markers that check for fake bills. Why did this guy call the cops? Where's that video? The clerk could have easily done a slight of hand and swapped bills without being seen by their camera. I've been in stores where they display fake bills, so its not like it would be unheard of to have one handy. I don't know. Maybe this cop wanted to settle an old score. Sounds crazy I know, but there's too many things here that don't add up. A setup? Ahhhh, probably not. Ya gotta think the cop ain't that stupid.

I disagree. The cause of death will be the largest part of his defense from lawyers. The claim is that the officer murdered George Floyd by causing him to strangulate by placing his knee on the guy's neck for nine minutes. If the autopsy shows George Floyd did not die of strangulation then this places the entire case in jeopardy IMO.

Can you imagine the rioting if this officer walks after a trial.

    Have you read the complaint?

Do you really think they assert that the officer killed him by a cause that wasn't true?

The complaint won't necessarily reflect what's on the internet.
