Just wait until the main tariffs hit. I'm not sure how the US auto industry layoffs will be received. Quietly in the background many industries are scaling back projects with tariff implications. Commodity prices continue to rise. Copper stocks spiked up today, a commodity already with future supply issues that will be exasperated by tariffs. They have traded strangely lately but popped today ( I sold most into the strength ).

The hostile crowds in these red districts are mainly Trump voters who are angry after losing their federal money or jobs. These are not crowds of liberals — no matter how much MAGA supporters want to spin the narrative this way.
