I have been able to login around 8:30 CT without data. Then hours later data arrived. But I had a trade on TSLA at around 2 pm where the orders were not placed and I wasn't able to cancel them. Also I am still hearing connection re-established from time to time.. It seems still not 100% ready..
Finally able to login by IBKR phone app around 4:50pm EST, that's a full trading-day outage. Vancouver, Canada. Still cannot login on PC to Portal account management webpage, but that has been an issue for at least 5 days ago and has been happening 6 months or more. Their 2FA login procedure via PC seems to have issues. On the good side, a NASDAQ limit buy order I put in late Friday unexpectedly got filled today before regular hours, LAZR, nice profit.
I only "lost" a little bit and I was going to lose that anyway in the short term. However I "Didn't Make" a lot of money that I would have made because my plan was to buy up some MNQ last night or this morning early. Can't claim any damages there, with any real chance of getting anything for it.
I was already running 981 so that isn't what helped. It was just the time it took to install, was what it took to get you connected, I think.
