Ripley, I hope you meet all of your financial goals and then some... same as I wish for everyone else. The only competition any of us have in this profession stares back from the mirror each morning.

That said, you've still got a ways to go. Probably much further than you think. I honestly believe you can make it in this profession, but you gotta lose the attitude first. Challenging the egos of some very big traders here may help your esteem, but I promise you a sense of humility goes a lot further toward success.

You don't need me or anyone to preach this stuff to you... the market itself deals out endless lessons until we each get it right. The lessons will last until we get it right, or funds are exhausted. Let me kindly suggest you approach this profession feeling like a student for now... your account balance will let you know when a state of mastery is reached.

Best Trading Wishes

4. Heynow,

I infer from your moniker you are listening to the Howard Stern show. I too listened to the Howard Stern show during my morning trading until I discovered it was losing me money. I would be laughing hysterically at some random Artie remark and lose focus on a trade. The Howard Stern Show is the devil.

Now that I have unplugged the Stern Show during the morning I am doing fine. I can listen to the reruns later in the day with no bad effects. :D

I'm half being sirius here.

Laughing my ass & off rolling on the floor!
Best line I have read yet on ET.

That's like saying "I am the world's greatest lover even though I haven't slept with any women yet".

LOL

I do wish you the best. You are demonstrating a strong determination to make it.

But the bottom line is not how we feel or what we think, it is in the cold hard cash that sits in our trading account and by how much and how fast it is growing that one can make claims of greatness.

9. Bullcrap

I'm honest about my day trading and my failure at it.

create this thread mainly as a warning to inconsistent traders who think that 'eventually' they will get it. If you violated your plan even once today, your in trouble. Because your money will run out before 'eventually' arrives.
