yes it's just amazing how many penny's it skyrocketed while the sp futures broke new highs lol that's something i would want to dump my money into if it was between intc and a bag of crap. brilliant ! meanwhile at AMD
SPY the day I started this thread and now: 329.98 to 355.75 which is 7.7% INTC from 44.45 to 46.75 including 0.33 dividend is 5.4% Conclusion: even at this short time , we are not comparing "penny" to "skyrocket"
AMD vs INTC. It depends what time frame you look at. This is the max comparison. Still intel wins and we don't know the future:
Unless INTC gets rid of their management full of MBAs who know nothing about hardware they will continue to get destroyed by Dr. Su and the Ryzen gang. Their new desktop CPUs were stillborn. The 10900K is 40% slower than AMD's 3950X which is a year old. These guys are jokers. Does Intel really believe a former CFO can compete with Dr. Su? Maybe if the former CEO wasn't busy boffing the secretaries they might have succeeded.
That's only until 2003, quite arbitrary. We know the near future in some sense, we have an idea what the Intel and AMD roadmaps offer. Intel just won't be able to outperform and out-price AMD at 10nm and they won't be deploying 7nm anytime soon. And some fall, fall some more until they disappear. Plenty of big tech companies have gone this way.
so as a silicon nerd working for intel do they make you buy their stock? just wondering what you have to say about amd and explain why you didn't ride the obvious winner? also note your an investor i am a trader, you buy shit hope it goes up that is what you understand. i trade the sp index because of instant liquidity no matter how many contracts i trade i get filled both long and short. i trade in and out up and down - i make money both ways in the market cause i have a brain that is not warped by the industry in which you work.
It's pity for the loss of the mobile phone market. BTW, Intel should participate in the development of AR chip.
