I have often wondered about an ATR componet to adjust targets with...highs and lows are made to be broken in the YM.... going with the componet indications and the trend seem to be where this method is.... I know..I know arbitration between Dow equities and the YM are near perfect...its not what I am doing....
I shorted this knowing I had to exit today and was right to do that because mkt has now bounced up to 143.35. My indicators also tell me well in advance when a potential area of support....actually will be support. In this case.....along with my belief that we will float into tomoroow.....I thought this particular support area would hold....and it did.
My PM's are off...this is what I am doing. I have subscribed to a magical indicator and let someone else do the top down work, until I can get e-sig and figure it all out... yes, I have knack at reverse engineering things, now that I know how to lose money I will break this Dow....(said in Lundgrens voice to Rocky Balboa) The Master (bator), Michael B.

You know watching the YM and comparing it to Forex....its seems different...I am feeling that I do not have any control or premonitions...perhaps that is my downfall. I need to control my trading and lose efficiently. I have strived for years to master losing money and the YM is troubling. You know a method can be followed over and over methodically and religiously and if there is an edge you will soon realize it. I think that the key to losing is to discover how to do it and stick with it no matter how magical it is... I swear if I make any money in the YM, I will give up trading...as I have worked so hard at losing, I would never understand how to solve the problem... ES
