Jan 14 Trades. No trades on that date. There are some on ET that suspect people will say there were no trades on date x in order to hide a big loser. Not so here. Well if a reader goes back a few pages they will see a big DD of -300 tics (unrealised). <img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=1772823>

thnx for the encouragement, JSSPMK. Electric: I miss the guy although some others certainly dont. Looks as though he began to go thru some big changes last April re himself and trading. He made some posts on ET couple of months ago and sounded not so "good". Most of it was deleted by mods - not sure why though. They were in the Phyc forum. As well, some of his posts on this thread were deleted... rj
I see, I read some of his later posts about his revised method, my thoughts on it at the time was that it sounded a bit complicated, unless we have it down to a tee like Maestro has his computers doing the number crunching for him ImO we need something less sophisticated. Anyway, all the best to you! and Electric if he is still out there

IMHO Electric Savant was a good trader who made a lot of positive contributions to ET, not the least of which was asking pointed questions designed to generate debate and bring traders to new relizations about their trading. *** Among his contributions were: (i) sharing of trading ideas and systems, which ultimately did not work, but that led to this thread ... which seems to be coming along quite nicely (Golden Arches Project) (ii) a thread he started designed to spur debate and help traders understand how they colud progressively decrease risk in their trading (Is Trading Gambling, What Say You?) (iii) starting a thread which was desinged for a trader to lose, so that he could figure-out how to win (you're right here folks) (iv) trying his hand at moderating, which can certainly be a pretty tough gig *** Ultimately, he spent a lot of his time here (for quite a while, actually). Just because he came back and said that he ultimately failed as a trader does not mean that there was not value in his posts and does not detract from his contributions to Elite Trader. What folks get from reading over his posts is up to them ... seeing the value in his posts is like seeing the setups in the market. It's all in the eye of the beholder. I wish him luck in his endeavors, and may you continue to trade well.
