  4. What do you mean "laugh out loud"? Real traders know that timing is very difficult. I am not going to sit here playing "make believe" and say its easy to be precise. I might have to take 3-4 losses before I get that big win.

I dont know what some of your guys deal is. Maybe you want to put on a good show for the readers so they will send you some cash...maybe you just want to appear like you are never wrong to boost the ego.

Im not hear to post my trades in real time and I do not monitor this board every waking moment of the day like you all. I have things to do.

  5. I've learned that shorting these strong moves is very risky. I've learned my lesson more than once. Everyone wants to catch a top or bottom, and its very hard to do, and when you do, a big part of that is luck, especially when dealing with stocks like aapl, rimm, bidu, fslr, and goog.

I would agree with the other poster who said to trade the pullbacks. Aapl is making never-before-seen highs, and theres no telling how high it will go. But here is my analysis.

  7. Im not trying to be detractor, but there NOTHING on the AAPL weekly chart that remotely looks like a short.

Nothing on the daily chart either.

Seriously RDT, what in the world is making you make this call?

  8. The new Ipad has the potential to over turn the industry as we know it. Here is the trojan horse. The IPAD becomes the brains for the home of the future. If you have ever used I chat then you know that the Apple platform can allow you to control alot remotely as if you were there. Imagine the IPAD screen in size 42 inches and this will show you where this could go.

Apple is a strong company and with its app market they have unlimited upside potential with so many irons in the fire. Fundamentally they have cash and also many of the HD video programs require upgrading the computers.

APPL is a tough short here. Safari has yet to be unleashed on the market. When IE crashes Safari just keeps going.

I think AAPL(245.90) will hit 240 before it hits 250, but I'm not shorting it b/c I don't usually swing trade AND I see AAPL 270 WAY WAY WAY before AAPL 220.

The best of the news has already come out for the IPAD. it will not dominate the same way the iphone and ipod did, BUT AAPL has so much potential to grab more PC market share and apple has finally convinced the consumer that raw computing power is not as important as fun and cool looking.
