There is not an African American today who in the recesses of their soul is not thankful that their ancestors were taken from African to the United States.

For any African American in doubt take a vacation to Nigeria or Niger and see how funk the black be.

And who do you think the slave bosses where in the US? They were other blacks.

Dear black people - Quit shitting the bed. Be proud of who you are and take the initiative to instill positive values in your progeny.

Many black Americans think looting and rioting and holding up a thug as a martyr has enhanced their position in America society. Could not be further from the truth.

"Momma how can I be great like somebody Floyd?" "Be a criminal and do a lot of drugs."

Only time in history that a thug has been held up as a role model.

    Well said Ayn Rand.
For some obscure or insane reason blacks seem to think being a criminal thug is a way for the black community to be uplifted. I would love to see a black lives matter supporter( who is black), actually go to a country in Africa such as Sierra Leon or Nigeria and live there for a few weeks. I Guarantee they would be begging to come back to America, the least racist country in the world.
Unfortunately black communities in America are more dangerous than Africa. Who' fault is that? The blacks themselves.

Remember it was African Blacks who sold or traded other blacks to Europeans. They also kept their own as slaves.

Incorrect. They have been holding violent rappers as heroes for a long time. A sizeable portion of the black community hold OJ Simpson has a hero.

We all know that Fred is not thug enough to be black. I wonder as a person of color what color Fred is? Probably blue.

Boy howdy there's a lot to unpack here.

In a weird twist of fate African immigrants outperform American black people on most measures of economic success. So it has very little to do with race or an alleged oppressive system the marxists believe exists. There is some evidence culture plays a role and this seems to be reflected by what prominent black conservatives say.

This is whataboutism. Yes it's true that African kings sold their own people into slavery to Europeans. Yes, it's also true that other non-white nations owned slaves. However, this is detracting from the point and makes your argument look extremely weak. It opens you up to the obvious counter-argument "well if the white Europeans were so virtuous why didn't they just say no thank you to the African kings?" It's obvious after an iota of investigation the prevailing thought of the time was that Africans were lesser people. In other words, their motivation was racist in the strictest sense of the term.

You can see how taking this line of thinking creates a position that is not defensible on your side. The fact of the matter is Europeans were responsible for enslaving some portion of Africans at some point in history. Does this mean Europeans should pay for the sins of their fathers? No. At least not in my opinion. Perhaps that is what you are trying to get at here but again your argument is falling flat on it's face.

This is again another astoundingly bad argument. Floyd is being martyred because he was executed by the police. Not because he was a thug. This is strawmanning and terrible form. In fact, I'd even argue that the statement "many black Americans think looting and rioting and holding up a thug as a martyr has enhanced their position" is false prima facie. Americans of all colors and creeds saw what happened to Floyd as horrible. Even if you take the line he was a "thug" or "criminal" neither of these things, nor the crime he was being arrested for, signed a death warrant for him. Has the entire thing blown out of control and the martyrdom taken to the next level? It would appear that way. This does not, however, detract from how unjust his death was.

And we arrive at why nothing ever gets done. Much like silencing wrongthink, or using violence as coercion, it does not create an period of enlightenment. It puts the opponent on their back foot and causes them to dig in.
