Use limit order and don't hit the bid. I usually get better commissions than that with IB using tiered.

    Thinkorswim Options Commissions
For options trades, Thinkorswim charges a standard commission of $0 per trade plus an additional $0.65/per contract. For multi-legged options trades you will still only be charged a single standard commission of $0 and the $0.65 per contract fee applies to each contract of each leg. Thinkorswim charges NO options exercise and assignment fees.

You also have the opportunity to be paid for adding liquidity with IB. They pass on the charges and rebates the exchanges give/take.

This is one of these crap threads filled with people who are penny wise and pound foolish. They are clueless to the savings from good execution.

    Stop...
    Guys a Noob...
    TOS is fine for him..

I am/was on pace to spend over 120k in commision this year at TOS.I say was as the arbitrage /trade I was executing has disappeared.

It would have been close to double at IB..

When I was at IB,I would get hit for 6 bucks per fly..At TOS it's less than half..

Im not knocking IB,but not everyone needs their level of option execution..

  7. When I see such questions, I always make sure that the calculations and correct distribution of capital are of great importance in the market. And before you start active real trading, you need to understand this issue well and analyze in detail what you can do in the market under your current capabilities. So, you can test everything, look around, and only then make the final decision, which will allow you to navigate well in the events and choose exactly what suits you.
Actually, the market is saturated with a huge number of approaches, and each of them has its own ardent admirers, but that doesn't mean that any of them will suit you. Everything needs to be checked out.
