I am paying $15.95 per side for 10 options contract with IB and don't really know why. i wanted to buy IBKR stocks and sold 10 puts as a noob in options I don't understand why I am overpaying as I thought the maximum is $1/contract per contract per side. I am open to other brokers though as i felt ripped off
Why don't you wait for a reply before whining and being a cry baby? Didn't you think to go to customer chat before coming to ET?
At IB, it's about the average comm. per side. After several/many trades, your average comm. per side will come way down.
IB clearly states United States - Direct Routed - USD 1.00 per contract https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=1590&p=options1 So why the extra $5.95?
