Just like many things in our society, there were a lot of public-private partnerships that led to it becoming what it is today. Anyways, I think you recognize my point. The government has more resources than any individual or their company. This can be extremely useful if they choose to pursue innovation.
No, you midread my point. I am saying that privatization leads to more innovation than just giving our money to the gubment. Once the power of the people get behind an idea, they can make it way better than the gub could, because it is a bigger brain-pan. So the money should be given back to the people in the form of lower taxes and such, so they can continue to have more money to seek their innovations. The government should be an administrator only of generalized rules of conduct, not a rule-maker on what private individuals can or cannot do with ideas.
The brain power could be bigger with the government, because of the size involved. I agree with the government not getting in the way of private innovation and in general they should aid it, not try to compete with it. However, there’s certain situations, where the private market can’t compete with the government, because of scale.
I will totally disagree with that statement when it comes to innovations in industry. But it is Turkey Day soon, and time for vacation somewhat. Thanks for the vibrant presidential debates, I look forward to more of them after the holiday. You have given me food for thought, which is rude, considering you know how much food we are about to get forced down our gullets. See America?!? I do not force-feed thoughts and concepts down my opponent's gullet day before Thanksgiving, when we are going to have to ingest mass quantities! I leave room for the stuffing! So a vote for just stuffing is a vote for Overnight 2024! (That campaign slogan kinda' does not make sense. I gotta' work on that.) Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I will be your running mate as long as I get to wave from the background and attend major sporting events in your place
Speaking of major sporting events, Iran is +310 vs. the USA today. Would betting on their soccer team over ours be disqualifying for a POTUS candidate?
there is a reason they were +310 ha ha France was +155 over England and I took that bet! Almost got me nervous but Frnace pulled it off.
I didn't make any bets. There's one bet I really wanted to make a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't get money online to take it: UConn at 60-1 to win the NCAA Championship. They've since moved to like 10-1 and are arguably the best college basketball team in the country lol.
