Yeah, speaking of that, what is the news du jour on why the market is up this much today?

  2. I will tell you where Im going to go. Im at JFK right now getting on a plane to St Martien. I will let you guys at the bucketshops figure it out while Im gone. Im all in cash in my retirement accounts so my only worry now is sunburn. Im not going to look at the markets until late aummer. Sure I might glance at a chartbetween now and thwn but I will be focusing on my business, my family and myself. I know thisis a suckers game and I dont invest in a market until its obviously sold off. Did I mention the French ladies in St Martien?

  5. Bernanke and retail sales.

The market gave me an out when it had that nice one day drop, but I didn't take it. I'm not all-in, but do I see losing all of the gains I made in BAC and NFLX. Good thing trading isn't how I make a living.

I'm not closing out yet, though, there is a lot of catalysts that can drop this market over 500 points in one day. I just don't like hoping that they happen. :p

Well, shooter, the non-stop flights are all boarding in the morning time. That's right - the non-stops from JFK to SXM have all left for the day.

And it is spelled St. Maarten.

    Tell us more stories.

Bernanke? The word on the street is the Fed is going to be far more tuned to inflation than to QE. Even JPM and Goldman were saying how the punch bowl is going away for a while. As for retail sales, a majority of the gains were in gasoline. That's bullish?

  9. This is precisely the logic why most people don't make it as traders. They cant imagine other possibilities and believe their logic is infallible. The other possibilities to the equation is that I dont actually live in the NY area and traveled to get to this airport. Im staying overnight at a hotel waiting for the flight in the morning. As well, as you can tell by my written English I am obviously not an English teacher so you will have to excuse the bad grammar and mis-spellings or maybe I am an English teacher but a bad one at that. I hear your BS all the time on market watch like "cash on the balance sheet", but they do not think of the other possibilities like the 7 trillion in debt on the balance sheets (vs the 1.3 trillion in cash).

When I say something is a "suckers game", I mean just that. A "suckers game" is not one that you play. So for me to either long or short the market at this point would be foolish as this is a "suckers game".

No one is trying to fool you here. I have been very truthful with my history, my opinion and the way I see things. It is your mind which makes up these delusions to fit your own reality. Some people have accused me of being all different aliases and of being some type of lunatic. Its not me who is the crazy one here. Im not accusing you or anyone else of being some odd character or running around on a forum pretending to know the market. Im here to tell you how foolish you are in your thinking which I believe is an accurate statement.

While I can sit here all day long and come up with reasons for market movement, the simple fact is I will probably be wrong or out of context in my statements. I do not work for Apple computer and dont really "know" why its moving up. It could be that China Mobile's 4G LTE-TD is coming online in a year or maybe its Bernanke pumping money into the system. I dont really pay any attention to that and even if I did I would not be able to truly "know". All I know is that sometime between now and May there is a high probability of a panic or at least a little twist&turn. For me to dive right in now is being a sucker.

Think what you will and Im sure you will come up with something new and different in another day or week which fits your thinking. I am right now headed down to the hotel gym. While I run on the treadmill watching some odd show on whatever screen they have you will be here working yourself up in a lather over nothing and trying to justify why you are playing a suckers game.

    I've been trading/investing since late '80's. I've never seen a more undervalued market. :D
