  1. the Modrain Table is complex.

to get to one of the 8 panels requires locating the correct panel.

    The table is a 4 x2 table.

So you filter to 1 of 4 and you filter to 1 of 2.

Say you are trending. the trend began with a c turn. you have had two turns in this trend. Then, you have a failsafe EE.

1 of 4 takes you to the Set C column. 1 of 2 takes you to the top row of the two rows. This is the orange panel.

Coders using SQL like to put these circuits in their code.

This part of "change" is in use to make sure a person knows the next two turns can produce a profit taking. Because you always know this, trading beomes a more relaxed process. the flow sheets show a person how leading indicator anticipation comes into bewing. this could be appied to any well developed approach if the approach contained all the defined elements.

Oh I wish they did. I actually saved your chart from a previous post.

I'm still not getting the BM,REV in this situation for me. It was placed at the bottom of bar 2 where the BO,T1 occurred

    Is this correct??
With the BO, T1 you place the BM at the bottom of bar 2, and you're looking for a bar to close on the high side of the BM. Bar 3 closes below that so another BM is placed on the low of that bar. Bar 4 does close on the high side and you reverse.

I'm very interested in honing my skills with your system, Mr. Hershey. Since the OP is no longer here, would you consider taking over your teaching role with me as the student?

--I know the 10 price cases. I've got the log, understand about UL, squishing and WAITs.
--I'm familiar with the volume ranges but need practice and feedback on assigning the correct values.
--At a high level, I understand the bands and the End Events, but if the volume elements aren't correctly assigned, I can't get to the correct EE.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn from you. Would you consider my request?
    Thank you...

  4. Does it have a fux capacitor to help you travel through space and time on the 9th bar of the third fractal which in turn would relay you into the open of the 12th pressure low??

  5. There are a lot of things at play in this general approach.

As it turns out, I have spent time going through conversing about a day of annotating and logging in the past. for some reason most people prefer to go through a process of working on a few bars, getting a result, then asking me if they did it correctly.

It turns out that an error of omission has occurred and what is learned is learned about how errors and/or omissions thwart a person's progress.

It usually takes a few weeks to get through a day.

For many years I suggested to people to do the work. So they do not.

To use an example, people often go through schooling and turn out as depicted by Briggs/Meyers. If they reflect on thier education, they find that their teachers concentrated on their weaknesses.

To quote a fav of mine: "Hide not your talents. They for use were made. What's a sun dial in the shade?" B. Franklin.

At Gallup, Clifton, Rath and Hartner took B. Franklin seriously and countered Briggs/Meyers with Strength Finders 1. 0 and 2.0. and Wellbeing Finder 1.0.

My psychiatric work centered on a theory of learning. Its acceptance is following the usual path.

The bottom line is self evident for learning to trade as an expert in 40 days. There are many successful approaches to trading. they all encompass just a few traits. Those traits are what helps a learner in an environment to rapidly get to the knee of the curve and become operation and soon become expert.

ET is not set up to be condusive to learning and growth from several viewpoints. ET has a lot of people who are set in their CW earned ways. These closed minds are to be expected. CW thinking pemeates the web sitejust as the military approach permeates the chain of command and civilians are elected to top off the chain of command. In business CEO's dominate corporations and funds of the FI.

Thus the scene is set for taking the full offer of the market as an alternative.

  6. My answer was too long so it was deleted automatically. Sorry. I fogot to save it before I posted it.

I will go to Word and retype it. I will make the Word old enough to post on ET.

    synopsis.

i will help you. get some buddies.

You are 80% of the way. you need 8 more days of charting and logging.

I am a little pissed at my scrwup. I spent 4 hours doing research and paging references, etc..

chek out Meyers/briggs and gallup's stuff by Rath, hartner and clifton.

  7. second try

Here is some background for you on your upcoming learning.

this is last weeks activities and how this system makes money with learners. Focus on eah and every trade we did by using the prints nad using a clean chart of each day. Print the charts and annotate when the trades took place. all tades were at turns that are known to be oming up in advance.

you have several leraning experiences to focus upon. I will spread them out since ET cannot handle large posts that lay out whole plans.

  8. as you see capital grows quickly.

you have the price cases understood.

I will post anything from last week thatyou feel you need.

Price cases "gate" permission to measure.

be sure you use a chart of the cases and make notes on it to show Kills and gates.

In making money the precept is to understand that the market DOES NOT move forward in trending on every bar.

by understand the exceptions to the rules, you get to be able to do all the volume test procedures.

you treat all cases exept the translation cases the same. you squish the second bar into the first bar and have an "equivalent" bar. This equivalent bar is bar 1 of the two bar comparison you make with the new bar. Find the case for the new bar.

also in a two bar non trnaslation the second bar may be measurable in volume. for this to be the context the second bar MUST be larger in volume than the first bar.

this is the scope and bounds for the cases.

I have left out laterals case for a separate post.

  9. laterals.

In the price cases one case is the lateral.

It takes three price bars to define a lateral.

a lateral is three bars whereby the second and third bars are in the shadow of the first bar. H and L of the first bar can be equalled but not exceeded in an more extreme way.

volume must also be less than the first bar's volume.

Laterals can continue further in a trend.

the rule is different after bar three created a lateral. the rule is that the next bars are lateral bars if the close is within the limits of the high and low of bar 1 of the lateral. Equal to is regarded as within.

When the close fails to meet the rule a Lateral Break Out (BO) has occurred. A squish is used to determine the character of the BO bar of the lateral.

all lateral bars ae wait bars beginning with the second bar. the first bar is named in volume using SOP.

A retro naming occurs on bar 4 of the lateral. all succeeding other barss are also named.

this means a turn could have happened. Do the trading action on bar 4 as SOP.

rero means use the logging column labelled retro beginning with bar two of the larteral. you are logging according to the volume test procedure to get the volume name of each bar.

The purpose of this is to keep up with the subfractal forwarding in a trend.

The main principle in bar by bar monitoring and analysis is to keep current with the formation of trends at all times.

if bars have gaps, then you have to adjust the limits of the lateral. Orange rays are used for this purpose. set your chart ray default to orange for rapid degapadjustments.

these posts cover permission from volume to do the independent varaible testing of volume.

  10. since youare 80% of the way to expert, you only have to do about 8 more days of original learning to wrap up this kind of trading.

doing the volume test procedure is now at hand.

all the procedure does is give you a routine for getting the correct answer all of the time.

each name for a part of a trend is named. You do know the names.

P1 to T1 to P2 is the primary.

P2 to T2P to T2F to P3P is the secondary.

you also have the name "wait".

there is one other name: P3F.

The volume test pocedure is laid out in three columns.

The chart has a row for each name.

for any bar, you look for a repeat first. If the log entry is F for false you keep looking for the name.

second you go back in time by looking in a reverse chronological order. you may have all falses for this.

If you have a true use it. If you have more than one true use the leftmost ture.

Names are filled in in the event column of the log and they are highlighted on the chart.

To prevent mistakes two more columns have been added to you reference table. they are kills and gates. Obey these constaints without exception. The constriants prevent looping in feedback.

I assume you have talent as depited on Briggs/Meyer or the Gallup 34 kinds of talents. If you let me know I will be more focussed and not bore you too much. On the GRE I am in the top 3%. Which percent is not important. Theoretetical Physics with top of the world instructors worked out fine for me.

let me take you through the primary.

P1 is assigned to a bar in one of two ways. It is on the turn bar if failsafe (BM REV or BO T1) or A band turns ocur (See A band sheet). In all other cases the P1 is assigned at the first measurable opportunity.

this begins a trend. all following bars get assigned by the volume test procedure.

After T1 a possible P! is killed. This assures forward movement. after a P2 there are NO MORE T1's.

This complexity is eay to handle. just use the table to get the testing and forwarding straight. legions of traders have shown they can do this with out mistakes.

All of this means noise has been eliminated in trading. So have flaws and anomalies.

Get all of this understood in one evening.
