I am getting my butt handed to me on a daily basis!

  1. The Modrian table is worth pouring over.

I follow ET to ppraise the various skill levels and how they are associated given methods.

Minimizing risk and making the table self correcting was a great adventure. I run daily P&L sheets which are logs of the turn type, the trend type, and the reversal profits (I just steele for the close of the bar rather than inject the "carving stuff (walls, etc)

As the puzzle filled in over about 4 months, I decided to add the failsafe to minimize the emotional aspect of trading. It really isn't "good enough" if most traders to have to deal with emotions.

As you say the BO-T1 is missing in some expected places. How it came to be missing is that the BO of the rtl was not stringent enough. So I did couple P and V for that EE.

It takes a beginner about three weeks to notice which of the relative positions of T1 to the BO of the rtl is on the table.

I could not have hoped for a better confirmation of the Set C and Set D panels than I got recently (talk about proving a positive with a negative .. lol)

The system is wrapped up and we do keep our eyes peeled for rare occurances (in which case we go through a deductive prove in).

The group of sheets ordered and tabbed for use turned out to be very fast track learning tool. We think of the system as a loaf of bread. All the one pagers are slices. To give the bread utility we just make bar by bar sandwiches.

We are starting to camtasia all sessions and take snapshots (snagits and white board cmaera snapshots. Compiling is working now since we got a high speed print for fanning out copies to merge into the logging pages.

In three weeks we got faster than the market and are now able to trade full days for 6 1/2 hours plus prep and then lunch after close.

We are building filters to find bright problem solvers and bright potential MAT traders. We do have the crew for doing the hook up to take extracted capital to problem solvers. One of our first endeavors is the parallel up to turn health care from illness to health since it is much cheaper to be health then cure illness.

Usually I am pretty busy during the day so I only write at night and weekends.

    Best Regards.

Here goes for my first post. Everyone starts somewhere and this is my pt1.

This thread hasn't been active for a little more than a month, but it's the most comprehensive picture of the JH RDBMS that I've seen. I've read through many, many threads and have a general picture of the process and I'm starting to put the pieces together.

What I'm missing (I think) is the list of EEs. Unless the EEs are the different Bands (A Band sheet and B-K Band sheet) or the 4 panels of the Modrian table, I do not have this particular list. Could someone point me in the right direction?

    TIA

I already need to revise my first post. I'm aware of some of the EEs, but not all 35. Those that I'm aware of are:

    PP1
    PP1a
    PP1b
    PP1c
    PP1d
    PP2
    PP3
    PP3a
    PP3b
    PP4
    PP5
    PP5a
    PP5b
    PP6
    PP6a

The A bands and the B-K bands comprise the remainder of the EE

Thank you for your prompt response! I'm sure I'll be back with additional questions.

  6. Well since the thread has been resurrected...

OP...has using this system improved your trading ? Or is it still a bit too early to tell?

I am definitely late to this party, but I have a few questions about the PP Sheet.

    a) What is an INT as it relates to PP1b and PP1d?

    b) What does the INT "Kills" column mean and is it the same definition of INT that is found with regard to PP1b and PP1d?

    c) Could someone provide additional information on how to volume test an OB? I'm aware that it's treated as 2 bars and that after the volume test, it will take on 2 different data element names. Is the volume literally divided in half when doing the volume test or is it used twice (can't seem to make sense of either of those being options - it would pass the repeat and then the references of P1/T1, P2/T2P, etc. wouldn't be valid)?

    d) For PP6 and PP6a what does "No accel/decel test" mean?

    Thanks in advance!

  9. I apologize for the brevity of the End Effects tables.

There are three tables: PP's, A band and the rest (B through K bands).

The Modrian Table has several purposes. I named it after Piet Mondrian. I did explain its creation here.

In trading, potential traders face several challenges. I work with teams to shorten the learning experience. Teams cooperate to help each other.

I use how the mind works to facilitate the learning.

I created a language by creating the pieces first. The alphabet is 21 characters spread over price and volume. For price, I color the elements by using bar color for translation and by boxing the internals. Price is learned in a day or so.

Volume is done with four rays and one box. These five are learned in one day All of these are ontologically defined on one sheet. Columns of the sheet define the test procedure. Additionally there are some cautions to assure complete differentiability. For example most people can understand "th" is a dipthong.

Science and mathematics promote organization. Variables are relational in consistent ways throughout science and maths.. Market variables must have the same treatment.

As we all see in trading, there is a very persistent misuse of variables; making a huge 20% a year is the result.

The market composes trends as a series of events in its variables. So reading this composition requires an alphabet and words.

Since the potentil trader is ignorant, I added a failsafe system to keep the capital involved from being used up. I bookmark and use an rtl on every new beginning of a trend. These safe guards are woven into the composition the market writes.

As in all systems (the market is THE system) the systems function. A functioning system is easy for human enterprize to examine and define. An educated person knows how metaphysics and ontology works.

The two variables work together in markets. Market granularity is just like Montessori sticks (digitalized) in digital Arithmetic. the variable pieces create trend sentences and each different possible sentence has one of 35 possible unique names.

The trading trend I use is one fractal slower than the monitoring and analysis fractal being described. This makes making money quite simple.

The Modrian Table is for trading the trading fractal.

It is very rigorous to go through defining trends categorically. Most researchers and discoverers never get into this refined and sensitive detail. Two types of trends fail and two types of trends complete. When this is not known, then the potential trader does not advance very far in effectiveness or efficiency.

As any trend progresses it goes from one type to the next event by event. My explaining this is novel to the financail industry and the research record of academics. Bringing new knowledge forth is hazardous duty when surrounded by non thinkers.

The task of defining the trading fractal workings on one table is a fantastic achievement.

In trending, turns are defined by sentiment change. Three combinations result. The Modrian table shows all of these for the "c turn" defined as the trading fractal dominant to opposite dominat turn.

As a look up table it is there or not there. Whan absent the other only alternative IS presentin the market event at hand.

The implicit value of the table is that the potential trader always knows in advance whether or not the money making segment ending is coming up.

This type of trading resourse is not vailable through any other means. I notice most people cannot will themselves to step up to the manner of taking the full offer of the market.

One ET member is watching others who are mentally active in trading learniing. His mind can never handle this trading approach, however. He is just entertaining himself.

Most people mess up their minds. It is easy to create a filter to examine this matter. People pass or fail. I do not work with those who cannot pass the filter, for example.
