That's true. But before you do 50 make sure number one is correct. Doing it 50 times wrong only helps you to learn it 50 times wrong. Jered, don't post more before you get the green light (from Jack, not from me) that everything is correct. Then you can do it 49 more times if you have nothing better to do. But it should take you less times to get the formations correct. In addition the next step will be that you will add the names of the volume cases for each bar. But for this Jack will have to explain you the volume category test procedure. When adding the volume names you will have to go through your log again anyway and that way catch additional "issues" in your bar formations. Therefore instead to do 49 more logs you will correct the issues iteratively with every new element you add to your log.
Are you sure? The log has "P THREEE F" and "P THREE P" but not: "P EFF P", "EFF P EFF" and "P EEEE P". The log also hasn't all volume cases listed. Names 3-6 have not been added, yet because at that time the log was created for a beginner in mind. Jack and Jered are using the "Advanced" version with the names I have no reference for, yet.
But did you examine that pre-advanced part yet?At least those 7 - peak/valley not peak/not valley and then some "f" in between stuff cases? What`s "f",anyway?
For this you need to be able to do the volume test procedure correctly. When you can give each volume bar a name, then you will be able to deal with "bands", "PP's", "EE's", the Modrian table and anything else Jack puts in his logs and charts. Then everything starts to make sense. Somehow.
In an effort to assist with the logging discussion, here is a link to the post Jack referred to where he defined the volume labels. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3818248#post3818248 The labels PFP, FPF and PEP are unknown to me. Perhaps they are more descriptive terms for Not Not T2P, Not Not T2F and P3F. Jack, could we add PFP, FPF and PEP to the glossary? If we follow the same convention they would be something like: PFP: Peak ? Pass FPF: ? ? Fail PEP: Peak ? Pass
My very funny you tube link deleted. You let this lunatic run wild for years, but delete valuable mockery. lol
