Sorry to see that interest in this thread has, at least temporarily, waned. Your future agenda for the thread listed important items. If you have the time and inclination, would you consider addressing number 7?

Wishing you and Liz a Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. thanks for your greeting. Back to you and everyone posting here.

you are correct about item 7.

I have about five sheets that do this quite well. I'll share with you in the dyas ahead.

Laterals are on a different fractal to your trading fractal since RETRO is done in hindsight,
1 - Why not use the most recent EE (prior to the lateral formation) and compare that to the lateral ending EE on the Modrian table?
2 - Why not just call all the turns inside the lateral P3P and wait for the breakout?
In earlier pages of this thread, the log included columns for Not T2F, Not T2P, Not Not T2P and Not Not T2F. Somewhere along the line, these were omitted. Were these initially created to be used inside a lat? I don’t think I’m reaching when I say that most of us are struggling with the lats... You even indicated in one post previously that lats are a stumbling block in the learning process.

For me personally, when I try to keep reversing to “stay on the right side of the market” (especially) in a lat, I end up chasing the market and I am NOT successful. Any insight for a better approach?

    * What is the process for “staying on the right side of the market”? Do you utilize the 3 tick orientation here too (don’t let the market go 3 ticks past your entry point)?
** Would you advise the use of the “NOTS” inside a lat? (T2P, T2F, Not Not, etc.)
*** When a C Turn occurs inside a lat, am I understanding that with your system, one is advised to take the turn and reverse the current position?

Thank you again for your time. I hope you and your family had a very nice Thanksgiving.

Would you elaborate on the n+1 test?

  5. For Me, I wished to be complete and thorough. So I did the exploration and formulated the details of the system.

In terms of practicality, I have substituted a protection system so that in degapped tading bar by bar, the trader does not have to deal with failures of trends too often AND I do not feel it is important to have losing trades at any time.

River has saked me to followup on the ultimate iterative refinement for trading: Achieving synchronicity of all the elemets in the system. Today is the day I do this. we can have closure as a consequence. It is always good to have Q's on details. this is the way facility is achieved for the trader.

  6. n+1 is the name for the NEXT bar.

In the sub fractal (the T2P to T2F space (band); I required that the band, once established, be tested on the NEXT bar.

True means the volume is between or on the line of the band. I call this band the C band.

False means another name for the volume bar must be determined. I use P3F for this bar's false. P3F stands for the fact that the trend is not finished (it has failed to finish). there is more to come in the trend.

there are two other n+1 tests.

  7. I will post a series of attachments for reviewing the "synchronicity" aspects of trading.

trading on a 30 minute chart is best accomplished by treating each bar as a formation of several pieces (1 to 3 pieces called legs). The 5 minute chart shows the explicit parts of what to be looking for.
