I am currently ranked 187 in the cme challenge

I signed up and only saw a practice account, did not see challenge ,ranking,and cash prize.

 

Me too. Where the dashboard was supposed to be (link in post #5) there was no ranking of participants.

 

And also I entered trades at the time of my last post, and am up $5500 now.
5 positions, all profitable.

 

Good points; his daughter won a big one......................... I may be biased to him ; he gave[ US mailed] me a free book, partial disclosure LOL

 

Even assuming he cheated, it is hard to explain away his daugther's win...

It was like subscribing to 6 months of IBD [Investors Business Daily], they had plenty of info on you[name ,address, phone, SSN i think,trading experience, signed agreement]+ they gave you a free book ''How To Make Money in Stocks'' . But instead of a free book; you got $50,000, in your account-NOT that you could write a check on it, it was thier money.

Some thing real strange happened, even though the agreement called for ''$50,000'';
after about a day , a million dollars[ brokers money,LOL] strangely appeared in my account. Most likely they did that to all,dont know; but i had ''written trade my plan.'' IF some had given me a million bucks= i sure would not have traded that size, in derivatives contest LOL . BUT some did; good way to blow up/gamble.

Besides, i did not know if i had a 10% loss, that would put be minus- $50,000 ,10% loss on $1,000,000= [--50,000k ; they had to right to publish the results openly[ Headline=Turtle Turns $50,000 account into minus -50,000, in one week in LOL[200% drawdown]

So, OP don't keep us hanging, did you blow up? Did you make the top 500 at least?
