I am convinced that Trading is the best Job

  1. Oddly enough, traders create their own curtains.
Its an individual choice to decide to pull the curtains apart to have a look, or live with the mystery.

  2. lets see...

option 1: .work at desk job updating spread sheets

option 2: trade the open ,go workout , watch, play some vid games, trade the close...

i think i'm better off with option 2

I recently made a decision to go back to my day job full time. I had been trading full time and "working" about 22 hours a week. My wife also works part time. We had been living comfortably on 2 part time incomes and drawing 0.5% a month out of my trading account. My kid is heading to an ivy in sept (passing up several full rides) so I chickened out and took a full time job (very low 6 figures) about 3 months ago and position trade.

I really miss being around the house, watching market action real-time, and tweaking my set-ups. My position trading is going well but I feel disconnected.

Perhaps trading is the best job for someone.

However, trading is not a teamwork career. One may feel boring or lonely at his trading career.

  5. The best job is being a rock star -- Better than being a Trader, though trading is up there:D :D
