I took a 16K loss in 2009 and booked it. but I made it all back up and then some instead of waiting and potentially big risk. now I am doing very well. but I learned valuable lessons at least now I have 16K loss for taxes to offset profits.
Thanks, it is certainly appreciated of your being genuine with the situation. Definitely a great learning experience regarding the psychology of trading. Yesterday was narrow range on the SPY, today seems wider, and if the open was indeed a classic "exhaustion gap", then you will score by holding for your target.
Pretty good trading to only be down $15k. Did you trade some back and forth? At one time you looked to be around -$40k just on the 32. Am I close? Btw, Good luck
I know I should not engage haters on ET, but just this one time. If you look at the last xls. file from 2007 it cleraly states it is a DEMO. If you do not believe me - fine, flip the switch, switch the channel or continue posting; whatever floats your boat. I got bigger problems to tackle at the moment. Ciao!
saxon22 why not scale out of half now? then you can have a re-think with a clear head... sometimes works for me when I'm in a hole
I think you are correct, the p/l figure does not reflect any commissions, looks like the Openecry demo again.
