Hypostomus Tests Jack

Discussion in 'Strategy Building' started by hypostomus, May 17, 2004.

  1. ...do you perhaps seek a Bosworth for your Johnson? Jack has an M.A. in technical writing, as is quite evident from his eloquent missives, but he is of course far to busy.

  3. ...since you are an alias yourself (or perhaps even an alias of an alias), indubitably I should engage one or more of my manifold aliases, many of whom you have heard from here, to discourse with you. However they are all busy trading my multi-fractal accounts (LT, IT, and intraday), so I shall condescend to address you myself. As a lifetime (or longer) futures trader, I can assert with complete confidence that what you need is leverage. First, quit trading stocks, and start trading futures. The lower the performance bond and the higher the tick multiplier, the better. Second, set up one or more supplemental machines (as many as you can afford) logged in to "art" sites (what I like is "art", what you like is "porn"). Then randomly enter a trade for the full amount of your account in your vehicle of choice at a time of low volume and with no stop. You will soon find the stress mounting, you will desperately seek relief from it, and your problem will be solved. Don't forget to exit the trade before you pass out from low blood flow to your other head. All the best.

  4. ...well then, BEGONE! This is a hallowed place for true believers. You would be well advised to delve into the mysteries of Jack. His ideas are subtle, difficult to grasp, but one by one, like barnacles, they will accrete to the ship of your trading. I would be pleased to personally mentor you on-line for the delectation of all, or, if you do not recognize my credentials, you could ask the Phoenix to. I am confident that any Jack-'o-Lanterns here would be willing to cast further light on the subject.

  5. Let's not, but say we did.

Nonetheless, I will continue to hold that the equity index cash/futures well is dry to all but those with the most sophisticated of dredging equipment.

Try to picture me leaping out of my chair, busting out of the house, and running, screaming, down the street . . .

  7. ...I had intended to let this Jack thread die a quiet and richly deserved death, but when I undertook my daily pilgrimmage Jack search, hold and belo, I found page after page of REALLY GREAT JACK STUFF in the last two days! Of course it is merely coincidental that this flurry of notably cogent and beautifully illustrated posting appeared at this time. (If ever Jack isn't posting enough for you faithful, please advise and I will remedy the deficit for you.)

As to his comment that my later posts here were OT, it simply proves that Hypostomus understands Jack, but Jack doesn't understand Hypostomus.

Great postings, Jack, thanks very much!
