  1. Hi Don, I know you are the best in the business, but can you please provide a link to show proof that ARCA is going to the 2/3 model on NYSE. (pending SEC approval) I could not find it anywhere on their website. If someone can provide me with a link it will be most helpfull.

    Thanks

  3. well, i thot your profits depended mainly from lockin' the mkt; i saw u postin' on a best trade of the day thread that u banked 4c on gm. u talk so much about arbin' the specialist that looked like it is all u do and it seems odd to me, to put all that risk capital at work for pennies, [shite can happen anytime innit] especially on days when u gotta the embarassement of the choice for full % gains. and i cant understand why u call it a gamble; all the yrs u been in the mkt u should get a feel for things that move, setups in the tape and charts are the same over and over and over..this is a skill not a gamble and can be taught imo. still, am glad to hear your guys also trade direction sometimes, if that's really the case.

  5. Read this: http://www.nyse.com/marketinfo/hybmarket/1156502683011.html. There is also a lot of good information about the coming changes on the NYSE here: www.nyse.com. Just click on the HybridTalk blog and start reading through the posts. There are a lot of good examples in there. Hope that helps.

  6. According to my people, there has not been the same rebate system for NYSE stocks on any ECN. Please send me a PM with details (copy of confirmations, your broker, clearing firm, etc.)...I am very interested.

    Perhaps ETF's only, ??

    Thanks,

    Don

  10. Let's not forget that the specialists and floor brokers will still be doing their jobs just as they do now under the new hybrid - they just have the tools to do them electronically.
