Hurricane Sandy and Crude Oil

    Well, whether we are "awash" or just well stocked with raw crude, my original point was the most relevant - it is really more about refining capacity than a heavy raw hydrocarbon liquid that as it sits in a barrel or tanker hold is useless for most internal combustion engines. You guys are really somewhat missing my central tenant.

  2. capacity needs to be expanded, then the need for crude will be too..... plus its priced in USD. thats a problem

    lame question about oil-back in a day oil was $150,gas-$4, now oil is half of that,but gas is still $4. why?

  6. Different supply/demand fundamentals. Like bone said, awash in WTI but global gasoline supplies remain tight.
