while you guys wre sleeping last night, Ike slammed into Galveston head on, then into Houston.The good news is its dying down now. as of last night here in Atlanta, there was no gas available after 10PM.kind of similar to what happened in 2005 w/Katrina. I guess now comes the assessment.How bad is the damage?When will people have gas again?What are the impacts for the economy? as for traders, where do equities open on monday?bonds?oil?gas?
Sleeping ? Some of us are right in the middle of the storm and were up at 3 am watching it come. Downtown houston had lots of wind damage. 2 to 4 million without power as of this morning.
3mil/4mil without power. downtown buildings have been damaged and there was flooding in downtown too. luckily we had 0 damage and still have power.
