I don't think anyone here is surprised. I think the funny part is how holier-than-thou the Democrats were going on about, saying how "no one is above the law" and heaping praise upon Biden because he would allow the justice process to work out. And then he comes out with a very specific timeline (11 years?) and broad pardon for his son.

Oh, I don't disagree that there is a poverty mindset amongst many blacks and for good reasons. That's what we are talking about. Don't be racist though and assume that all blacks want is money. That's a "where's my check" mentality. Go ask 200 successful blacks what matters to them and you will find that money is a component of the picture but not the total picture. As Condi Rice said to Bill O'Reilly in an interview where he was was razzing and jazzing her for being a Republican: "Bill, I have been black a rather long time and don't need any lessons on how to be black." Similarly, she was saying she did not need any lessons on how to be black from poverty-minded dems or other blacks. Don't tell me what the aspirations and skills are of the first 200 blacks you meet on the street. My aspirations for you would be higher - probably higher than you have for yourself. It's not PC to say it. But the problem is the average black person in the US has been dealt a genetically very poor hand. This makes the American dream out of reach for the vast majority of Blacks, much lower chance than for whites.
And you should. The issue isn't the politician saying and doing different things. It's the overall media not holding both sides accountable. As you say, we all expected him to do it. We all expect Trump to lie as well. But the media will properly call out Trump on his lies while pretending Biden didn't.
Good Morning Businessman, Exactly my point. Do you know how many poor black people i know? Alot. Now add on how many black people, I know who is stuck in misery. Every black person I know have sooo much mental damage and finicial struggle. Now add that to alot of black people i know with great ideas and no money. Bad credit. Now add that to alot of black people i know miserable at their jobs. EVERY BLACK PERSON I KNOW life would be better if they had $50,000 in there savings account. Allll of them. Then they would be happy and join politics. Every black person I know do not vote or care about politics anymore and have completely giving up on the American dream. It's too easy to get fired from work and have no money for down payment for house. No black person I know have down payment for house. We all live in rental house. My mom never owned a house before, always rented. Been poor since birth. That is why black men sell drugs to get extra money and get rich. Easier to make alot of money.
