No. James Clyburn certainly played an important role but what you missed is that Iowa and New Hampshire are not very relevant in the democrat nomination. But to be fair the majority of people didn’t understand that either. It comes down to African American women in the Democratic Party. They leverage as much of an outsized vote in the democratic nomination as High school or less white men in the Republican Party. And I’m not throwing shots with the “high school or less” it just is what it is. At the time Biden was polling very well with African American women and he rolled through the democrat nomination faster and stronger than any other recent nominee. Youre being too simple. Biden is old. He was old in 2020 and he will be even older in 2024. This is his weakness and it’s a major weakness. Right now, to-day, almost have of the democrats don’t want Biden to be the nominee because he is too old.
