What about the crack cocaine charges, prostitution and other issues - or were they all deep fakes?

I suppose these are personal vices, not crimes.

  3. The alleged Hunter Biden charges are all part of a larger scam and ruse to protect Hunter and all other members of the Biden Crime Family.

The larger crimes related to his defrauding his business partners by taking payments from China into a private account- other than that specified in the partners contract- will not be addressed. He took at least 5 million. This is a crime that is separate from any political/ethical issues related to dealings with China. It is a flat-out fraud crime. However, it would lead to a whole cross examination of the China dealings to establish the fact pattern. Including Joe's and Uncle Jim's dealings.

So the setup is that Hunter will be charged with some bullshit crimes: Tax crimes, failure to register as a foreign agent, etc. Then he will plead and enter into a deal that offers him immunity from any other crimes during that time period. BOOM.

So then Hunter goes back to being reframed as the poor drug addiction victim who made bad decisions, and we all know with drug addiction problems, right? Just your basic American.

And Joe gets to say that he left everything to the DOJ, did not meddle, and the system has addressed all issues. And the DOJ brushes off any further inquiry into Joe and Jim because "there is no longer an active investigation and all relevant issues have been addressed. BOOM.

    It's all a ruse and a scam.

The Dems will dismiss my comments with their usual blah, blah, blah. But there is not a single person on this forum- dem or republican- who thinks the investigation would go the same way if we were talking Don Trump, Jr. and President Trump. If Bobulinski presented the full, full, set of documents to the DOJ that he gave to the DOJ, but they implicated Don Jr. and Trump, then Merrick Garland would be self-stimulating down on the National Mall with the material he had to work with.

    Scam.

There is one issue though-----Looks like he was offered a plea deal of 2 million in fines and no jail time and he turned it down. Now, the plea deal offer is 15 million and jail time. He is convinced, I would assume, that he will get pardoned by The Big Guy, so he is not budging.

  5. Yep. I heard that. Beautiful. I would love to see this thing go to trial. Hunter is innocent until proven guilty and everything should be examined in detail.

In reality, they will do nothing until after the election and by then Hunter will have either seen the light or given a better deal by the DOJ to give him more light to see.

Hunter Biden Caves, Will Change Plea To GUILTY
    https://trendingpoliticsnews.com/just-in-hunter-biden-caves-pleads-guilty-in-major-case-mace/

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, has reportedly decided to plead guilty in his ongoing tax fraud case. This comes after earlier legal efforts by his attorneys to dismiss the case or at least delay the proceedings. The plea change marks a significant development in a case that has caught widespread media attention, with many speculating about its outcome and the potential consequences for the Biden family.

  8. It would not surprise me to see the judge reject it unless Hunter changes his tune.

He is trying to do a so-called Alford plea, whereby the defendants agrees to plead guilty to avoid trial, acknowledging that they cannot win BUT refuse to acknowledge their guilt as part of the plea.

A lot of judges will not accept that game based on the principle that if a defendant believes they are guilty, they should go to trial.

We will see. Pretty sure the judge will at least probe that.

I was thinking that he was just going to plead so that Lunch Bucket could pardon him.

  10. The media reporting on this leaves out some dimensions ie. Hunter also has indictments for failing to register as a foreign agent and the related acceptance of foreign funds. It does not get mentioned because Hunter's attorney got the judge to agree to not mention those indictments as part of his tax trial. Fine. Not a problem. Except those indictments do not go away. And if he pleads guilty or is found guilty on the tax charges and then is eventually found guilty on the FARA charges, he will be sentenced as a defendant with priors. Not good. The gun charge would be yet another prior.

I think some of the reporting gives the impression that Hunter has got this thing over with. Nope. He is in the middle of a mess. There is a risk the judge will not accept the plea. Plus he has more cases coming. Joe better get the pen ready.
