ONLY when emitted from a heat and air unit. Now, go kill yourself.

There must be some data upon which the expert gives his or her opinion.
Without data to test how can other scientists test and see if they get the same results.

Agw nutters present no data or observation or experiments showing man made co2 causing warming on earth.
Only models which have failed in real time.

models which all predicted serious warming of the earths temperature over land when our co2 levels went up 40%. yet there has been no warming for 17.9 years.

    ----
in contrast... I present real science.
The NASA guys were able to observe CO2 shielding the earth from the suns energy.

Mlynczak is the associate principal investigator for the SABER instrument onboard NASA’s TIMED satellite. SABER monitors infrared emissions from Earth’s upper atmosphere, in particular from carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO), two substances that play a key role in the energy balance of air hundreds of km above our planet’s surface.

“Carbon dioxide and nitric oxide are natural thermostats,” explains James Russell of Hampton University, SABER’s principal investigator. “When the upper atmosphere (or ‘thermosphere’) heats up, these molecules try as hard as they can to shed that heat back into space.”

That’s what happened on March 8th when a coronal mass ejection (CME) propelled in our direction by an X5-class solar flare hit Earth’s magnetic field. (On the “Richter Scale of Solar Flares,” X-class flares are the most powerful kind.) Energetic particles rained down on the upper atmosphere, depositing their energy where they hit. The action produced spectacular auroras around the poles and significant1 upper atmospheric heating all around the globe.

“The thermosphere lit up like a Christmas tree,” says Russell. “It began to glow intensely at infrared wavelengths as the thermostat effect kicked in.”

For the three day period, March 8th through 10th, the thermosphere absorbed 26 billion kWh of energy. Infrared radiation from CO2 and NO, the two most efficient coolants in the thermosphere, re-radiated 95% of that total back into space.

As I said, it doesn't matter.

THIS is where all the greenhouse gases are coming from!

  5. hey jem. Is CO2 a greenhouse gas or what? It's kind of important. Interesting that neither you nor piehole can answer that simple question without obfuscation and embellishments. It's like you don't want say it out loud for reason. You guys would make good slime ball slippery politicians, or lawyers or disinformers.

Interesting you refused to answer my questions although I have answered your question numerous times.
so I will make it even easier.. I will answer your question again if you

present us with a link to science showing man made co2 causes warming.
not that the earth is warming
    or that co2 can warm
but that man made co2 is causing warming now or in the last 50 years.

your dopey graph of temperature going up is not science showing man made co2 is causes it. I already told you ocean temps are warming... but it is unlikely co2 is warming the oceans.

Or they could join you in your gummint job. Same difference, except there's more time to post on ET.

  9. I don't work for the gummint, or even any government. Yes that is how you spell it.

All of your shoes and helmets use velcro, don't they?

You wear a name tag everywhere. And another one upside down for you.

You're so dumb that you stand on chairs to raise your IQ.

I know how to spell "government," as well as asinine, imbecilic and nonsensical. How old are you anyway? 12?
