Did you say something jerm? Just came across this interesting info. This set of graphs shows the estimated contribution of various natural and human factors to changes in global mean temperature between 1889–2006.[41] Estimated contributions are based on multivariate analysis rather than model simulations.[42] The graphs show that human influence on climate has eclipsed the magnitude of natural temperature changes over the past 120 years.[43] Natural influences on temperature—El Niño, solar variability, and volcanic aerosols—have varied approximately plus and minus 0.2 °C (0.4 °F), (averaging to about zero), while human influences have contributed roughly 0.8 °C (1 °F) of warming since 1889.[43] Wait? Did you say CO2 is not a greenhouse gas?

hey fraudcurrents... you forcings chart is going up while the earth's temps are standing still. its now 17 years and 9 months without any warming...
One can see how the S.O. spiked temps in 98 and has been quiet since. If solar and SO happen to coincide in the next cycle look out, new high temp records.
Since 1990, global surface temperatures have warmed at a rate of about 0.15°C per decade, within the range of model projections of about 0.10 to 0.35°C per decade. As the IPCC notes, "global climate models generally simulate global temperatures that compare well with observations over climate timescales ... The 1990–2012 data have been shown to be consistent with the [1990 IPCC report] projections, and not consistent with zero trend from 1990 ... the trend in globally-averaged surface temperatures falls within the range of the previous IPCC projections." http://www.theguardian.com/environm...t/01/ipcc-global-warming-projections-accurate
Ironically, the dirty Chinese coal plants may be adding enough aerosols to reduce incoming solar and air temp rise. Of course the earth's heat content, most of which is in the oceans, as whole has not paused in it's uptrend at all.
Long Video, but very informative for anyone interested (in case it hasn't been posted before) (He's old, so maybe he's senile)
Seen it. He is not a climate scientist, he is a righty, he is a businessman and he is wrong and misrepresents the science at almost every turn. This is the Weather Channel's statement which basically agrees with every other science organization in the world, not a single science org disagrees with these basic points: "..... it is known that burning of fossil fuels injects additional carbon dioxide and other so-called greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. This in turn increases the naturally occurring "greenhouse effect," a process in which our atmosphere keeps the earth's surface much warmer than it would otherwise be. More than a century's worth of detailed climate observations shows a sharp increase in both carbon dioxide and temperature. These observations, together with computer model simulations and historical climate reconstructions from ice cores, ocean sediments and tree rings all provide strong evidence that the majority of the warming over the past century is a result of human activities. This is also the conclusion drawn, nearly unanimously, by climate scientists." http://www.weather.com/encyclopedia/global/
