Let's see when @JackMorgan figures out how the equities market works and how many people he wants to go to jail
they literally have the same software for over 20+ years and if you like snap shot data they are the best. when you're trading with ib and receiving data in real time from a data vendor, it doesn't work at all. maybe they have a bad rap for bad fills because their whole system is engineered to haircut your trades. ib is the typical bait "with low prices" and switch "you actually going to pay for all those perks" routine. they have refused to reinvest some of their huge profits into bettering the trading platform and data integrity customers are getting from other smaller firms. ps i love paying commissions and taxes, i just try and make the market pay me back.
TWS sure isn't as good as TOS but for running my algorithms their API is the bomb and I do feel like their SMART router is doing a good job. If someone has very detailed data on where it is failing us I'd like to see it.
Explain to me how they work. Ive posted dozens of winning trades, and called the latest TOP of the market to the day. Live. In print. And crashed the Rickshaw apparently in the process You on other hand, I doubt a single winning idea lol, I invite anyone to scan your excretions here, and find a SINGLE actionable idea.

They don't have a reputation for bad fills. They got a reputation for price improvement. I've tested against 4 Brokerages in Canada and they came ahead each time. These guys were too broke to do a proper study. Notice the trade sizes are all below a board lot. Could be internalizers get better odd lot fills but Increase the trade size and IB comes out ahead. Didn't test options, small order sizes, only large cap companies, only US companies. Study sucked balls from an academic perspective/

EVEN if they were acceptable + IBKR was, SCHW also. I love market orders sometimes LOL + SEC fees, as you noted , make a profit. WONDER whose fault is that/ if they fill your limit order where you posted it?? Thanks, mr Mark
