  1. I gave my rationale BEFORE he made his post. Now, please read his post again.
If ivanovich's job is to discourage quality threads in the trading section of this "trading" message board, I understand. Obviously this thread is not popular and has no place on ET. Why would anyone want to hear from a guy with my record who can predict the end of historic +30% runs to within a few points in the S&P?

Reading his ultimatum of 1 single day discourages a guy like me from sharing my thoughts. So, I will not start any new threads with my trading ideas in trading. Why listen to my thoughts when ivanovich and ET has rennicks mighty ball?

  2. Golly gee--look at the overnight futures. Either port1385 is selling big-time or more dumb luck by me.

It was obviously luck for me to call the end of an historic 250 point and +30% move up in the S&P to within a single point.

  4. Shortie--you agreed with my premise AND you added some quality reasoning on this thread AHEAD of the fact. You definitely deserve credit too.

    Thanks and good work amigo!

  5. Not going to move it as long as it stays a good conversation and doesn't turn into a flame war. Of course thus far, I got one sentence from Rowshan as to why he's called the poll, and a whole paragraph of him bragging about supposed success stories. Fortunately, for the thread, others have added to it and carried the water.

Incidentally, I'm hoping he's right, too. But futures being down 36 points doesn't mean anything at this stage of the game.

  6. Fair enough. You know my luckiest call of all is this thread (link below) I started in May 2007. You would like this thread as I did enunciate my reasoning, and I managed to call the end of the bull market with pinpoint accuracy AHEAD of time.

BTW--Any comment by ivanovich as to how stock trad3r/port1385 managed to get away with what he did for so long?

  7. i think this rally is due mostly to the weakening of the usd and it looks like there is more to come

  8. Who cares what Ivan thinks. ET has become a trash heap and it's a shame. Mods selectively moderate and throw weight around.

ET is not the same. "Prove yourself in the opening thread or you are toast" - let the community decide, participate or not.

Trader666 and aliases are over in the Psy forum creating new threads every day. Apparently the only forum where mods are fully checked out. That has been going on for WEEKS.

A vote for rubberbird and Rowshan. :D

I agree. With the current policies of printing money, the dollar will continue to deflate. We could very well see a synthetic bounce in the market while real wealth remains the same. ie, the Dow could go back to previous highs while the cost of living increases. Thus, 401ks will look like yesterdays numbers but not sufficient to retire.

I am not saying it will happen soon, but over time. The immediate situations I see developing are bank stocks that have been run up due to the prop desk profits and fear of not being involved through the stress test. That is over. If a portfolio manager hasn't been getting long already, why will next week be the time. It is a rotation of money.

Buy the highs, short the lows.
